Control units
Control units
RNA offers optimal control concepts for vibration drives – from simple phase angle control to high-end frequency control devices with microprocessors. The devices are economical, user-friendly, and enable the operation of feeding systems without a higher-level control system. They are tailored to the magnetic power of RNA vibratory and linear conveyors and are available in CE and CSA/UL versions.
Compact control units of the SCU series
The compact SCU control unit is designed for all RNA swing drives and controls load currents up to 6 A. The LED display allows the conveyor speed to be set precisely, and the modern control technology keeps it constant even when the mains voltage fluctuates. The device enables release via a 16–30 V signal, querying of the operating status, and has an adjustable ramp function for smooth start-up and shutdown. It can be operated in 230 V or 115 V mains, and all settings are made directly on the display.
Compact control units of the ESK series
The control units in the ESK series were developed specifically for controlling vibration drives in conjunction with sensors. This allows users to program simple control concepts for a feeding system in the control unit itself. Like all RNA control units, ESK devices also have a communication port for external controls. They also offer the option of connecting two sensors and activating solenoid valves or warning lights, for example. The devices automatically adjust to the mains input voltage.
Depending on the model, up to three vibration drives can be operated with one device (phase control). It is also possible to connect AC motors.
Compact control units of the ESR2000 series
The ESR2000 frequency control unit is identical in function to the ESK series, but also offers the user the option of adjusting the output frequency. This allows each vibratory drive to be operated at its optimum natural frequency. The connection of up to two sensors and the activation of a solenoid valve allow the required feed functions to be programmed independently in the device. Communication with external control systems is also possible.

The ESR2500 & ESR2800 frequency controllers are designed for all RNA vibratory drives and control load currents up to 9 A. The unique calibration function continuously monitors the mechanical movement of the vibratory conveyor and regulates the conveyor speed independently of the load, similar to cruise control – without the need for an additional sensor. Like all RNA control units, they feature an ergonomic design for direct installation on the vibration drive and allow the connection of sensors to optimize the feeding process.
ESM906 & ESM910 series control modules
The ESM906 and ESM910 RNA control modules are simple phase angle controllers for speed control of vibration drives. They are designed for easy installation in a control cabinet.
