RNA Group CEOs’ meet-up in Wolpertshausen
Once a year, the CEOs and senior managers of RNA Group’s companies come together at one of RNA’s sites for an exchange about the latest product and market developments. This year, the meeting took place on May 16 and 17 at PSA Zuführtechnik GmbH in Schwäbisch Hall. Discussions revolved around simulation, AI, standardization, reproducibility and the group’s strategy for international markets.
When you ask attendees about the most important aspect of the CEO meet-up, the answer is almost always the same: it offers the possibility to discuss current challenges with other senior managers and to find solutions without the pressure of time. This is why this years’ host Fritz Kraft, CEO of PSA Zuführtechnik GmbH, kicked the event off with a round of snacks for everybody. In this relaxed atmosphere, all attendees could get into the right mood for the varied program that awaited them over the next two days.
The topics of the event were also outlined by Mr Kraft. As the CEO of PSA Zuführtechnik GmbH, he presented the company’s development, with special consideration of the ERP system Beosys introduced three years ago. This software connects all resources of the company, regardless of site. This enables highly efficient interactions between management, production and sales (both in-house and in the field).
Following the presentation of the ERP system, attendees were given the opportunity to visit the shop floor. The modern organisation of warehouse management and the efficacy of the comprehensive quality management system were highlighted by this guided tour. These insights into the internal processes of fast-growing PSA conveyed the importance of the interactions between quality and production when it comes to efficiency and growth.
The afternoon then focused on the business situations of the various companies making up the RNA Group. The participating CEOs outlined the current developments and challenges for their respective companies, and presented their successes and future strategies - all aiming at keeping the RNA Group on the path of success.
The second day of the event was started by addressing Sales. All attending companies presented their current sales activities and how they plan to meet set targets. The CEOs also shared their experiences from dealing with customers and markets, and discussed the most effective sales strategies.
In addition to highlighting the many positive impulses coming from within the group of companies, this year’s CEO meet-up in Schwäbisch Hall also illustrated another interesting aspect: the RNA Group is also perceived regionally as both an attractive employer and an important economic factor. This was confirmed by the presence of regional newspaper Südwest-Presse at the event. The newspaper’s economics editor, Ms Bauer, attended the discussions and presentations and interviewed CEOs Kraft and Borggreve. She then assembled all attendees for the obligatory family photo before the event was wrapped up with a final luncheon.
